Dakgil

After Kerlingar the plan is to drive 1-road to east in south side. There is couple of nice waterfalls like Skogafoss.

Drone flying was forbidden there, but there is another waterfall behind a Skogar museum.

It is possible to walk behind the waterfall

The museum had some old trucks outside, 6x6 drive ones too

Next was Vik, but there was a very hard wind. It raised sand from the mountains and seawater in the air.

From Google maps I have spotted a camping, which is close to Katle in south-east side. The road starts about 5km east from Vik. I drove there and there was a good windshield, because camping was in a canyon with walls every direction. It was a calm night even with a storm. The landscape had the same character as in Thorsmörk.

Kerlingar

I had to try the idea of flying the drone around one of the peaks in Kerlingar. In previous trip I have had a bunch of photos of the hot springs in the area so now I mainly flew the drone.

There in a nice narrow gorge, but the sun was shining low so there was a lot of flare in video picture. Couple of shots were decent..

The peak
 The gorge

 The springs

The exhaust disconnected second time while driving to Kerlingar, so now I'll stay in better roads. I'll drive the southt coast slowly to the ferry... and the weather seems tp get better now. I heard it has been a very cold summer so far.
