Latrabjarg

Charging problem was a loose belt. It started slip, when load was high, but it did not whine or have any noise. I alo learned that the tacho meter runs with generator rotation count somehow. When belt slips, the tacho does show lower than real rpm. After I adjusted the belt, the charging voltage was normal and now it seems to run ok. The belt has got some beating because of the slip so we'll see if it reaches home.

And I was wandering why the hub oil levels were ok on the other side of the car, but maybe it was because it was standing with a bit of tilt previous night. Then the oil probably came back from the diff thorugh venting hole.

Anyway I reached the west point of Iceland the Latrabjarg. There is a lot of birds nesting in the wall, which is about 400m high at best. In previous trips I have seen some puffins, but now I was hoping to have some good photos. And yes there was some of them at the top of the cliffs.

Ravens had their owns show. Here is one stealing an egg.

A little fly demo

And here one has caught a baby bird some where .

 Some nesting birds

fulmars flying

Don't know what these are, but there was big bunches of them

 Cormorants

And these fellows look like puffins but have a black peak. Don't know if they are young puffins.

Some photos of the cliffs.

I flew the drone at highest point, where birds did not go. There was no no-fly-sign as there is in many places.
